Side of the neck: pinching through four zones
All the fluid that collects in your face overnight drains down the side of your neck. There, along the long muscle running from the ear to the collarbone, lymph nodes sit in a chain — and if tension blocks that route, any work on the face hits a ceiling. That’s why we open the neck before we touch the face.
Tilt your head to one side — on the opposite side the muscle will stand out under the skin by itself. You can’t miss it: it shows itself. Place four fingers beneath it and start gentle pinching movements with your thumb.
The grip takes the skin together with the layer beneath it — don’t press your fingers in deep, there’s no need for that here. Ten pinches at one level, then move up about two finger-widths and repeat. We cover the whole neck in four steps, from bottom to top. Then switch hands and do the same on the other side.
One warning: we work only on the side of the neck. At the front, where you can feel a pulse, we don’t touch.
A minute and a half. And you’ll see the result tomorrow morning, when you look in the mirror and don’t recognize yesterday’s puffiness.
